Dr. Awais Zaka
Nephrologist and a Hospitalist in Detroit, MI.
I finished my internal medicine training from University at Buffalo and did my first job as a hospitalist at Community Health Network in Indianapolis, Indiana. For my next job, again as a hospitalist, I moved to Michigan, where I did my nephrology fellowship.
Now I can be found in St. Clair Shores, MI, usually in the backyard, a book and a pen in my hand.
Before noon, I work as a physician in the hospital with my patients.
After that, I spend my hours in my library at home, my hub for telemedicine, research, networking.
When I am not at those places or with my family, I am in my backyard, reading, and writing.
